I have been going back and forth about putting my blogs on a schedule. And I have finally decided that yes – that is a fantastic idea! So, today is the first day of the new schedule. How perfect to share it on my GFE blog You will find a new post here each and every Friday! Woot Woot! I have also included the other items you can expect from me throughout the week. And in other news, my puppies are trying out some new gourmet treats today. They were very excited that we took a jog downtown to the dog treat store. I am not sure if I just never noticed before but those places seem to be popping up everywhere!

 I know this isn’t all that *sexy* but I thought you lovely GFE callers might want to know some of the other things going on with the delectable Ms Holly. You should all be well aware by now that I am training for the Columbus Half Marathon in October. I’m hoping this crazy heat wave won’t last much longer because I have had a hard time working out at 9pm or 6am! On days I can’t get out and about during the crisp hours…. or maybe they are just not “crisp” enough for me I go to my gym to train. However, eventually people are going to be mad if I start doing 90 minute trainings on the treadmill that is supposed to shared!
I am using my regular personal trainer to help me train for this half. We have done them before but this time is a bit different. She runs a coaching service specifically for endurance sports. So, instead of last time where I would be running x miles a week or so this time around my training is much more specific. We are using trainingpeaks.com which is an amazing site if you haven’t used it before. Each week she loads my workouts. Tells me exactly what to do each day and how to think about the run. For example, yesterday I had these Rep Runs. I would do a fast paced run (about 5k speed) for 4 minutes, then 2 minutes of walking, 2 minutes of a light jog. I would repeat the process 5 times. The point behind those is to push myself to run a bit faster and gain my confidence a bit. Hopefully by the end of training I will be cutting my time and running faster the whole race. Does that make sense?
So if any of you are new to running or maybe are just interested in running – you know you can email about these fun mundane things too right? I do welcome emails from any and all clients. IMs not so much… but definitely emails!

Hey Sweet Puppets!
First, yes - I had a nice relaxing vacation. Just some good ole fashioned family time. Living by myself in Lexington has its perks… one of them being I really enjoy the rare times I spend with the family! And my birthday was fantastic! Lots of great gifts and they just keep coming! I had to add all sorts of things to my wishlist to accomodate. Remember though… you don’t have to pick things on my wishlist. If you go out and see something that reminds you of me… just box it up and ship it to the main office.
But the real n ews is this – the race is on! I was planning a race in September but I won’t be following through. I had some girlfriends joining me and they backed out so I don’t really have an excuse to fly across the country to run a race by myself. So… backup plan. The Columbus half marathon on Oct. 17. I think it is run by Nationwide or something. Anywho, looks like it will be a smooth, flat race so pretty easy. Remember I am always telling you that *anybody* can do a half? Well, this might be a prime example! So… it is only 10 weeks away. Want to join in the fun?
And in other news, my #1 fella is out of town for the weekend. I would be so pleased if you could join me and keep me warm You know the number
And lastly – anybody else use/have a farmer’s co-op in their town? Here in lexington we do and I keep not signing up for it. It’s only like $350 for a half share and like $550 for a full share and that means a huge bushel or two of fresh organic veggies for about 16 weeks. I was just curious if any of you have used this. Sounds like a great deal! I would certainly save some cash but… still on the fence. Guess I have to wait till next year anyway but I want to “investigate” now, lol.

First, a big thank you to those of you that made my birthday special so far. It’s not actually until tomorrow but I got a ton of gifts in the mail today. I can’t believe it took me a whole week to get my technical difficulties under control. For those of you waiting for custom audios you already know the issues.  Oh how I love July 4th. The fireworks, the kids, the flags, the joy! I hope you are all enjoying a fun filled day with your families and remembering how great it is to live in this country.

What is Click to Call?
Click to Call is a way for you to connect to me without dialing into dispatch. This is particularly awesome for those of you that hate waiting on hold. Let’s face it – we are getting bigger and bigger and with the summer months hitting it will be especially hard to get through to dispatch.
How does it work?
Easy! Click on the button above – or wherever you see the click to call button on one of my profile pages and fill in the information. If I am on a call it will tell you that I am unavailable. Once I am available again it will allow you to fill in. We are in the process of getting click to call to set up call backs in the waiting queue like regular call backs but this function isn’t up and running just yet.
Anyway, fill in the information and then I will call you back. One suggestion though – when you are filling in the information is to put the call in as “unlimited” because if you fill it in for 20 or 30 minutes I have no way to increase your call time. However, once we get connected just let me know about how long you would like the call to last and I will keep an eye on our time That way if we are *so close* we can still finish our call without getting cut off. I just hate it when that happens
