First, yes - I had a nice relaxing vacation. Just some good ole fashioned family time. Living by myself in Lexington has its perks… one of them being I really enjoy the rare times I spend with the family! And my birthday was fantastic! Lots of great gifts and they just keep coming! I had to add all sorts of things to my wishlist to accomodate. Remember though… you don’t have to pick things on my wishlist. If you go out and see something that reminds you of me… just box it up and ship it to the main office.

ews is this – the race is on! I was planning a race in September but I won’t be following through. I had some girlfriends joining me and they backed out so I don’t really have an excuse to fly across the country to run a race by myself. So… backup plan. The Columbus half marathon on Oct. 17. I think it is run by Nationwide or something. Anywho, looks like it will be a smooth, flat race so pretty easy. Remember I am always telling you that *anybody* can do a half? Well, this might be a prime example! So… it is only 10 weeks away. Want to join in the fun?
And in other news, my #1 fella is out of town for the weekend. I would be so pleased if you could join me and keep me warm

And lastly – anybody else use/have a farmer’s co-op in their town? Here in lexington we do and I keep not signing up for it. It’s only like $350 for a half share and like $550 for a full share and that means a huge bushel or two of fresh organic veggies for about 16 weeks. I was just curious if any of you have used this. Sounds like a great deal! I would certainly save some cash but… still on the fence. Guess I have to wait till next year anyway but I want to “investigate” now, lol.
